We bought this for our 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter. They love it and it is a perfect starter hoop. Set up is very easy and took about 1 hour. You will need 2 people to finish this project. All the starting connections are easy for one, but finishing the project will take 2 people. We filled the base with water. Both kids were making baskets at the lowest setting which is somewhere around 7-8 feet. Good solid product for the price.
